A guide on how to use PAIA has been compiled by the Information Regulator and is available on their website (https://inforegulator.org.za) to assist individuals in exercising their rights under PAIA.
4. Records Held by the Company
To operate our AI infrastructure, Pantorem maintains the following categories of records:
- Corporate & Legal: Incorporation documents (CIPC), director details, and commercial contracts.
- Financial: Accounting records, tax clearances, and banking details.
- Technical & Engineering: AI model architecture documentation, API logs, backend server deployment logs, and anonymized inference datasets.
5. Processing of Personal Information (POPIA)
Pantorem processes data exclusively to power our high-compute behavioral risk analysis models and secure our digital infrastructure.
- Categories of Data Subjects: Partners, investors, and users of our digital trust infrastructure.
- Cross-Border Transfers: Given the compute-intensive nature of our architecture, data may be routed through enterprise cloud partners (e.g., Google Cloud) located outside South Africa, strictly governed by enterprise-grade security and data sovereignty agreements.
6. Request Procedure
To request access to records held by Pantorem, requesters must use the prescribed Form 2 under the PAIA regulations and submit it via email to the Information Officer. Pantorem reserves the right to evaluate all requests against the protections afforded to our proprietary algorithms and trade secrets.
